Position: Lead Project Control Specialist - Hybrid Role

Location: Crawley (3 days per week), with potential consideration for other UK Thales locations and travel to Crawley once a week.

Your Role:

As a Project Control Specialist within Thales Secure Communications and Information Systems (SIX), you will join a team in Crawley responsible for providing communication products, including radios for naval vessels and electronic countermeasures globally.

Your responsibilities will include delivering project planning, monitoring, and control expertise across various projects within SIX. You will ensure the implementation of best practices in Project Controls across bids and projects, interpreting and presenting data as actionable insights for Project Leadership and Senior Management decision-making.

Additionally, you will ensure that all projects maintain a robust Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Performance Management Baseline (PMB).

Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven hands-on experience in planning, scheduling, data analysis, and cost control within a complex engineering or manufacturing environment, including high-level and detailed schedule compilation, program reporting, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Oracle Primavera and Microsoft Project is preferred.
  • A solid understanding of planning techniques, including critical path analysis and work breakdown structures.
  • High proficiency in project planning tools and standard business administration software.

In accordance with Thales' Baseline Security requirements, candidates will be required to provide evidence of identity, eligibility to work in the UK, and employment and/or education history for the past three years. Some positions may necessitate full Security Clearance, which may require additional documentation.
