We're looking for an experienced and skilled Chef Manager to join our team. You'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our residents receive delicious and nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management.
  • Lead a team of catering assistants and ensure that they receive the training and support they need to deliver exceptional service.
  • Work closely with our care teams to ensure that our residents receive meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Contribute to the development of our culinary services, including menu planning and food innovation.
  • Ensure that our kitchen meets the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Requirements:

  • Experience of managing a kitchen in a care setting, with a focus on delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Valid food hygiene certificate and a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of catering assistants.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with care teams and other stakeholders.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and making a difference in the lives of others.
