About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Manager to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As a Credit Risk Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and mitigating credit risks within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with our sales team to inform, train, and advise on clients and their suitability for credit.
  • Implement credit risk strategies to manage potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and manage portfolio exposures to minimize risk and maximize returns.
  • Improve credit risk processes and systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with our Accounting and Finance department to manage credit risks and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Report on credit risk profiles to management and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support the collections process and oversee the DSO reports to ensure timely and accurate payment.
  • Identify areas for improvement in credit risk management and implement changes to enhance our risk management framework.

Requirements

  • Background in credit collections and risk management, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Knowledge of credit risk methodologies and tools, including credit scoring models and risk assessment frameworks.
  • Advanced Excel skills to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
