Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Manager to lead strategic initiatives within our client's cloud infrastructure at Synchro. This is a hands-off role, requiring the successful candidate to focus on infrastructure governance, risk management, and strategic planning within the cloud environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure management, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing cloud governance frameworks and risk management strategies
  • Creating and maintaining infrastructure documentation and standards
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Providing expertise on Azure technologies, including Landing Zones, Azure Networking, ExpressRoute, Azure DevOps, Azure AD, RBAC, Azure Policies/Guard Rails, and FinOps
  • Familiarity with ITIL Foundation processes and procedures

The successful candidate will be required to work onsite in Sheffield, UK for 2 days per week. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
