Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Lancaster Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children, while also contributing to the overall success of our nursery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's development and learning.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and well-being.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care, adhering to our nursery's policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive environment that supports the needs of all children and families.

Requirements:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for children.
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and relevant legislative requirements.
