About the Role

Scopely is seeking a skilled Technical Artist to join our Monopoly GO team in a hybrid capacity. As a Technical Artist, you will play a crucial role in elevating our new casual game, Monopoly GO, by working closely with developers and artists to ensure seamless asset integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the asset integration pipeline, importing and assembling assets from external software suites into the Unity3D development environment.
  • Collaborate with the development and art teams to create tools and solutions that enhance the artist's workflow.
  • Act as a liaison between departments to ensure efficient asset integration and optimal results.
  • Import and work with 2D and 3D assets in Unity, including sprites, shaders, materials, animation controllers, particle systems, and timeline sequences.
  • Manage and maintain assets in versioned repositories, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Support the team in creating content using the Unity3D toolset, including shaders, materials, animation controllers, particle systems, timeline sequences, and cinematic content.
  • Document and maintain pipelines and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Previous experience using Unity and proficiency in UI/UX design.
  • Knowledge of 2D illustration software, such as Photoshop or Illustrator.
  • Experience in mobile games development and repository management.
  • High level of English proficiency.
