About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Artist to join our team at Cityscape Digital, a leading architectural visualisation studio in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping and evolving our art pipelines, ensuring seamless collaboration between creative and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish efficient and clear pipelines for data ingestion into Unreal from 3D CAD packages
  • Develop and maintain coherent documentation for pipelines, tools, and procedures
  • Conduct benchmarking for project features through research and testing
  • Prototype features and provide transparent accounts of their performance
  • Work on creating asset banks, such as textures
  • Execute on direction from Project Lead and/or Art Director for project requirements related to technical output
  • Ensure coworkers adhere to established procedures and standards
  • Update documentation and fix performance bugs
  • Support and train artists to raise the bar creatively by developing and disseminating technical workflows and creating artist tools
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of the Unreal Engine 5 content creation pipeline
  • Knowledge of computer hardware specifications in relation to project requirements and deployment
  • Demonstrated experience in helping shape and evolve art pipelines
  • Effective communication skills and drive to deliver consistently on time
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability with excellent attention to detail, time management, and presentation skills
Desirable Skills
  • Experience as a Technical Artist
  • Experience with Unreal Insights
  • Experience with the Substance suite
  • Experience with design and deployment of VR
  • Experience with Niagara
  • Experience with Blueprints
  • Experience and knowledge of C++
  • Experience in architecture
