We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Team Leader at our Green Park Day Nursery in Reading. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding care and education for our children, while also supporting the development of our team members.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Early Years Educators in delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to promote children's learning and development, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the nursery, including planning, preparation, and delivery of activities.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with company values and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Hold an early years qualification at level three or above, with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and education.
- Be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Be flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- An annual salary of £30,326.40-£33,696 (when working 40 hours).
- Up to 50 paid days off work.
