About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational leader to join our team as a Lead Ranger. As a key member of our Property Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in driving our vision for a more nature-rich, accessible, and resilient coast.

As Lead Ranger, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff and volunteers, developing and delivering conservation, access, and engagement projects, and working closely with our tenants and partners to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of staff and volunteers to deliver conservation, access, and engagement projects
  • Develop and deliver a programme of conservation, access, and engagement projects, including nature restoration, wildlife conservation, and coastal conservation
  • Work closely with our tenants and partners to achieve our goals
  • Manage budgets, finances, and contracts
  • Ensure the wellbeing of staff and volunteers, and provide support and development opportunities
What We're Looking For

We are looking for an inspirational leader with a passion for conservation, access, and engagement. You will have experience in project management, team leadership, and budget management, and be able to demonstrate a commitment to excellent nature conservation, access management, and climate mitigation and adaptation.

You will be a strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including staff, volunteers, tenants, and partners.
