Timber Mill Operative

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our production team as a Mill Operative. Reporting to the Mill Supervisor, this role is critical to ensuring our customer requirements and production deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a variety of woodworking machinery, including wall saws, edge banders, glue presses, and CNC machines.
- Manufacture washroom products, such as toilet cubicles, vanity units, and wall panels.
- Modify doors, including lipping, adjusting, trimming, and cutting openings.
- Adhere to EHS standards by maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring machinery is properly maintained, and following safety protocols.
- Proven experience in a timber mill or similar production environment.
- Ability to operate machinery with minimal supervision and set specifications correctly.
- Relevant woodwork machinery qualification and/or experience with edge banders, glue presses, and CNC machines.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
