Role Overview:

The Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in facilitating supply chain operations by overseeing administrative functions, maintaining precise records, and ensuring seamless collaboration among various departments.

Responsibilities include assisting in the management of supply chain activities encompassing procurement, production, transportation, and storage.

  • Keep accurate and current records of stock levels, orders, and shipments.
  • Generate and process purchase orders, invoices, and other logistics documentation.
  • Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to guarantee timely and precise delivery of products.
  • Track inventory levels and notify the Logistics Manager of any shortages or inconsistencies.
  • Support the formulation and execution of logistics strategies and enhancement initiatives.
  • Perform data analysis to uncover trends, challenges, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the logistics team, including organizing meetings, compiling reports, and maintaining records.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and best practices in logistics management.
  • Address and resolve any logistics-related issues or concerns in a prompt and effective manner.
Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or customer service roles within a logistics or manufacturing setting is preferred.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP is advantageous.
