Polypipe Civils & Green Urbanisation is seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing our profile, product awareness, and sales on a national basis within the water sector.
Responsibilities:- Build lasting relationships with key personnel within the water sector businesses.
- Understand their business model, sectors, and requirements.
- Take ownership of sales and marketing initiatives.
- Solution sell to include RSXL and the wider basket of products and services.
- Put together project teams and manage them through to conclusion.
- Introduce key personnel from Polypipe Civils & Green Urbanisation, WMS, and the wider Genuit Group to water sector contacts.
- New product development - Identify solution gaps.
- Achieve and surpass set budgets and KPIs.
- Complete all mandatory training.
- Attend trade shows, corporate events, displays, and meetings as required.
- Liaise with distributor water sector team/manager.
- Maintain a managed project log.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the water sector and its business models.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
