About the Role:
The Asset Planning Engineer will be part of a small team responsible for delivering large-scale development schemes, ranging from 80 to 900 units. The team will consist of a Land Director/Head of Land, a Senior Planning Manager, and an Assistant Land Manager, totaling four members who will work together to achieve an annual target of 400 units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure development sites across the division to meet land targets, working closely with the planning team to optimize land purchases.
- Utilize a network of agents, landowners, local authorities, and other developers to identify land acquisitions of 80 units and above within a specified geographical area.
- Formulate offers, coordinate investigations, negotiate with local authorities, agents, and lawyers to produce contracts for signature.
- Work with the team to ensure maximum efficiency in land purchases and development.
