About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Associate to join our team at Selfridges. As a Sales Associate, you will be an essential part of a team that creates exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, building rapport and sharing product knowledge to meet customer needs.
- Conduct sales, refunds, and exchanges, offering alternative products or services as needed.
- Maintain high retail standards, including selling and replenishing stock, organizing rails, and hosting.
- Manage and oversee stock in your department, from unpacking deliveries to completing audits and maintaining the stock room.
- Adapt to changing challenges and work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales and service goals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and competitor activity, using this knowledge to expand your product expertise.
- Follow health, safety, and security procedures, and actively prevent stock loss.
About You:
- You will be a great communicator, able to engage with customers of all types and backgrounds.
- You will be well-informed, with excellent product knowledge and a keen eye for trends and competitor activity.
- You will be a sales and service expert, using your skills to deliver exceptional customer experiences and take the initiative to provide additional services.
- You will be flexible and adaptable, able to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities that may go beyond your role.
- You will be a reliable and respected colleague, embodying the values of Selfridges.
