About the Role:
Perry Ellis International is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our Golf Division. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts in the Midlands region, driving sales growth and revenue for our Callaway Golf Apparel and Original Penguin Golf brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow the golf apparel market in the Midlands region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including retailers, distributors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide product training and merchandising support to customers to maximize sales and revenue.
- Manage territory budget and sales tools to optimize ROI.
- Provide regular sales reports and insights to the management team to inform future business decisions.
- Liaise with internal departments, including Customer Services, Planning, Credit Control, and Marketing, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience in the golf apparel market or a related industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel regularly, with a flexible work schedule.
- English language proficiency.
