As a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Special Educational Needs, you will play a vital role in enhancing the educational experience of children with additional needs. This position is designed for motivated graduates eager to gain valuable experience in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges on both a one-on-one and small group basis.
- Collaborate with class teachers to assist in delivering core subject content effectively.
- Monitor and track the progress of pupils, ensuring that each child receives the necessary support to thrive academically and socially.
Ideal Candidate:
- A graduate with a strong academic background, including GCSEs, A-Levels, and a degree.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in a school environment, particularly working with children with SEN, is highly desirable.
