Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a financial professional with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and at least an AAT level 4 qualification. Candidates should have a background in working with small to medium enterprises and possess comprehensive knowledge of Xero accounting software. Experience in the charity sector is also advantageous.
Main Duties:
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, both established and new.
  • Provide assistance to clients regarding technical and tax-related inquiries.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client communications.
  • Prepare and review statutory accounts and CT600 submissions.
  • Manage bookkeeping for larger, more intricate clients.
  • Evaluate and offer feedback on bookkeeping completed by the team.
  • Review Self-Assessment submissions.
  • Deliver advisory services and engage with clients.
  • Keep abreast of financial policies, practices, and tax regulations.
  • Handle correspondence and inquiries from HMRC.
  • Support external auditors as required.
  • Participate in internal and client meetings as necessary.
