Housing Support Worker Opportunity

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Support Worker to join our team in Llanelli. About the Role

  • Providing individualised support to clients, promoting independence and well-being
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in the mental health sector, social care sector, or supporting people experiencing emotional distress
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed practice, attachment theory, and relationship-based approaches
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of safeguarding for adults and self-awareness
