Housing Support Worker Opportunity

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Support Worker to join our team in Llanelli. As a Housing Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing social, emotional, and practical support to individuals experiencing challenges with their mental health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and guidance to individuals in a housing setting, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals to develop and implement personalized support plans.
  • Contribute to the design and development of services, ensuring they meet the needs of clients and are trauma-informed.
  • Engage in reflective practice and ongoing personal development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Experience in the mental health sector, social care, or supporting individuals with emotional distress.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed practice, attachment theory, and relationship-based approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of safeguarding for adults and self-awareness.
