We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our dedicated team at NHS Arden & GEM CSU. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in providing in-depth analysis and insights to support the commissioning of specialised pharmacy services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
This is a part-time position with a standard workweek of 22 hours. You will have the flexibility to work from home and enjoy a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse, and interpret complex data from various sources to support strategic planning and operational decision making.
- Develop effective working relationships with pharmacy BI leads within priority Trusts to improve data submissions.
- Establish regional and 1:1 support sessions with Trusts to support improvement in data quality.
- Proven track record in analysis of NHS information and data flows, preferably within pharmacy or specialised commissioning.
- Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI, with experience in SQL query development, data manipulation, and performance optimisation.
- A robust grasp of project management frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall, and MSP, with a preference for those familiar with their application in healthcare projects.
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A solid understanding of the health and social care landscape, including policy, governance, and operational challenges in the NHS.
- Experience within the NHS or a similar healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of NHS data standards and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with specialised pharmacy services.
