About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of forward and reverse logistics, contributing to customer satisfaction, cost reduction, and process optimization within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support a safe, inclusive, and healthy work environment for all.
  • Manage the forward and reverse logistics process, including returns, repairs, and refurbishments.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.
  • Track and document all logistics activities, including the status of returned products, repairs, and replacements.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities for the maintenance team, including scheduling and assigning work orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and costs incurred.
  • Conduct analysis and reporting on forward and reverse logistics data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement and maintain forward and reverse logistics policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for reducing Complaints and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Receive and inspect returned products, identifying reasons for return, and determining appropriate actions.
  • Coordinate product repairs and replacements with suppliers or service centres.
  • Process and document returns, including issuing return authorizations, tracking return shipments, and updating inventory records.
  • Manage and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Schedule and assign work orders to the maintenance team based on priority and availability.
  • Track the progress of maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels for maintenance supplies and equipment, initiating reordering as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to effectively manage multiple reverse logistics and maintenance processes simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting and tracking reverse logistics and maintenance activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in the reverse logistics and maintenance processes.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles, particularly in the context of reverse logistics.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and systems for data analysis, reporting, inventory management, and maintenance tracking.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
