Position Overview

To advance our strategic and creative vision, we are seeking a Part-time Hourly Lecturer to contribute to our Fashion Communication and Fashion Marketing departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver engaging on-campus and online sessions, including lectures, workshops, and tutorials, covering all facets of student learning.
  • Conduct assessments and manage administrative tasks such as attendance tracking, preparation of instructional materials, and development of tutorial notes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience and expertise in Fashion Writing and Journalism.
  • The capability to encourage students to embrace creative risks and tackle global challenges.
  • A commitment to advocating for the cultural, social, and economic advantages of the arts, aligning with the university's values.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Professional and/or teaching experience in a relevant field, preferably with higher education teaching experience in the UK.

Working Hours

Teaching sessions are typically organized in 3-hour blocks starting from 09:30. The role may involve one or two blocks per day, with a total of up to 150 hours allocated throughout the academic year. Regular working days are Mondays.
