About the Role:
We are seeking a Part-time Hourly Lecturer to join our Fashion Communication and Fashion Marketing teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering on-campus and digitally taught sessions, including lectures, workshops, and tutorials, across all aspects of students' learning. This may involve conducting assessments and administrative duties such as register taking, preparing handouts and course materials, and writing tutorial notes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching sessions, including lectures, workshops, and tutorials, across all aspects of students' learning
- Conduct assessments and provide feedback to students
- Prepare and deliver course materials, including handouts and tutorial notes
- Take registers and maintain accurate records
- Support students in taking creative risks and addressing global challenges
Requirements:
- Experience and skills in Fashion Marketing, PR, and Campaign Management
- Ability to support students in taking creative risks and addressing global challenges
- Strong organisation, communication, and teamworking skills
- Professional and/or teaching experience in a related area
- Ideal candidate will have relevant HE level teaching experience in the UK
Working Arrangements:
Teaching sessions are usually scheduled in 3-hour blocks from 09:30 onwards. Timetabled sessions for this role may include one or two blocks per day. This position is for up to 150 hours across the academic year, with the usual working day(s) being Tuesdays.
