About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Youth Support Specialist to join our team at Saha Homes in Manchester. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract where you will play a vital role in supporting young people who are at risk of being remanded, helping them maintain alternative accommodation within the community.

At Saha Homes, we are committed to providing comprehensive housing services, support, and resettlement programs. As a Youth Support Specialist, you will work closely with residents engaged with the criminal justice system, guiding them towards avoiding remand and achieving independent living in partnership with the Youth Justice team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individual service users with a comprehensive supported housing experience.
  • Acting as a key worker to a designated caseload of residents.
  • Empowering residents to achieve their goals and aspirations, identifying and developing their talents through various activities and engagements.
  • Contributing to the development and promotion of this innovative pilot project.
