Join the Medik8 Team as a Mechanical Operations Technician

As a Mechanical Operations Technician, you will be essential to the seamless functioning of our production lines within the Production department. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, your responsibilities will encompass a range of technical and maintenance duties aimed at ensuring peak performance and minimal operational interruptions.

Your work schedule will follow this pattern: Monday to Friday, 2.30pm-11pm

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Production Line Preparation: Set up and prepare production lines for operation, ensuring all machinery is properly installed and ready for use.
  • Equipment Adjustments: Modify equipment settings as necessary to uphold product quality and production efficiency.
  • Filling Equipment Checks: Conduct routine inspections and adjustments on filling machines to guarantee precise product filling.
  • Weigh Scale Calibration: Regularly verify and calibrate weigh scales to ensure adherence to specified tolerances and standards.
  • Disassembly for Cleaning: Take apart components as needed for cleaning processes.
  • Reassembly of Components: Reassemble cleaned parts, ensuring they are correctly fitted and fully operational.
  • Ink Printing Setup: Configure video jet ink printing equipment for product labeling.
  • Daily Maintenance Checks: Perform daily and visual maintenance inspections to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Equipment Upkeep: Maintain production room equipment not included in the planned maintenance schedule (e.g., chairs, trolleys, cabinets, and barriers).
  • Pump Setup and Purging: Prepare and purge pumps to ensure readiness for production use.
  • Production Line Support: Assist in the effective and efficient operation of all production lines as needed, providing technical support and troubleshooting.
