Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Freelance Event Technician to join our team at IN2-AV Recruitment: International AV Staffing Solutions. As a Freelance Event Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support for audio-visual events, including set up and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for audio-visual events, including set up and support
  • Ensure seamless execution of events, including audio and video mixing, lighting, and control
  • Collaborate with clients and event teams to understand event requirements and deliver exceptional results
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail in all aspects of event support
Requirements:
  • Experience working in audio-visual events, including set up and support
  • Strong knowledge of audio and video equipment, including digital desks, radio mics, and vision mixers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work on a freelance basis, with a minimum of 2 days per week
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with industry-standard audio and video equipment
  • Knowledge of Crestron/Extron/AMX processors and touch panels
  • Experience with lighting and control systems
  • Ability to work with a variety of event formats, including conferences, meetings, and presentations
