Job Description

Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst - Operations/Supply Chain Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at The Advocate Group. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for partnering with operational colleagues in supply chain, procurement, and logistics to advise on costing and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting & Business Partnering:
    • Review COGS monthly to ensure accuracy, with a particular focus on indirect COGS.
    • Responsible for quarterly gross profit margin analysis, owning the COGS analysis and coordinating with the wider FP&A team to incorporate revenue drivers.
    • Support the Procurement team with tracking, analyzing, and forecasting commodity, packaging, and toll fee costs across 28+ plants across EMEA.
    • Business Partner the EMEA Transport and US-based Finance Cost teams to accurately account for freight and storage costs.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Drive the EMEA annual budget and quarterly forecast process for COGS and Logistics, coordinating with Operations and the US-based Cost team.
  • Other:
    • Contribute to advancements in S&OP process.
    • Support the Operations team with advancing their financial acumen.

Requirements:

  • Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
  • SAP.
  • Previous experience in a Supply Chain partner role.
  • Able to work independently and take the initiative to make changes.
  • Collaborative working style, great at building relationships.
