We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join our team at D R Newitt Recruitment. As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence across our food manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a dedicated team of professionals to implement industry-leading practices in quality assurance, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain robust quality control and food safety programs to support our company's continued success.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, BRC, and other relevant quality standards through regular audits and inspections.
- Manage supplier relationships to maintain product quality and safety.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues, including customer complaints.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, implementing necessary adjustments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and quality standards, including HACCP and BRC.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
