Job Title: Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group is pleased to work with a manufacturing company seeking an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform proactive and reactive maintenance of the infrastructure and Mechanical Control Systems.
  • Attend to breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Contribute to a continual improvement project to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules and tasks.
  • Collaborate with a team environment to achieve maintenance goals.
  • Fault find and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Level 3 or above qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ based).
  • Have experience in both Mechanical and Electrical sectors.
  • Previous experience in a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer role is essential.
  • Strong fault-finding skills and experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (reading and spoken English is essential).
  • Knowledge of PLCs and experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, changing valves, conveyors, and assembly machines is desirable.
