We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Financial Operations Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various financial operations, including invoicing, expense processing, accounts receivable and payable, and bank transactions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Invoicing and Accounts Receivable Management: Process invoices as per the designated order of authority (DOA) and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely payment from customers.
  • Expense Processing and Reimbursement: Review and process employee expenses, and ensure timely reimbursement.
  • Accounts Payable Management: Manage accounts payable to ensure timely payment to vendors and suppliers.
  • Bank Transactions and Payments: Process domestic and international payments, and manage bank transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Monthly Expenses Accruals and Analysis: Prepare monthly expenses accruals and analyze expenses to identify areas for cost reduction.
  • Petty Cash Management: Manage petty cash and prepare monthly petty cash statements.
  • Quarterly VAT Returns and Intrastat Reports: Prepare quarterly VAT returns and Intrastat reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaison with HMRC and Auditors: Liaise with HMRC and internal/external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Customer Interaction: Regularly interact with customers to focus on receivables and ensure timely payment.
  • Collaboration with Internal Colleagues: Collaborate with internal colleagues across different functions to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Work Stream Management: Prioritize and manage a multifaceted work stream to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping Knowledge: Good knowledge and experience of accounting and bookkeeping with exposure to UK FRS and IFRS.
  • Education: Degree-level education or equivalent in a finance-related discipline.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications, with experience in SAP desirable.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interaction with overseas colleagues and partners.
