Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team at Westlakes Recruit. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the construction phase of a project or projects and associated documentation to meet safety, quality, programme, and cost objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the project strategy and use the defined arrangements within the Project Delivery Process, Execution, and Quality Plans.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of a culture of zero accidents or incidents relating to occupational and personal safety, security, health issues, and environmental matters.
- Communicate to employees and contractors the importance of meeting customer requirements, including references to statutory and internal regulatory procedures.
- Assist in the coordination of contractor programmes and review request for information (RFI) responses prior to response to contractor to determine cost and schedule impacts.
- Implement project internal change management processes and assist in raising any instructions to contractor.
- Review contractor quotations for any changes to scope and provide accurate forecasts to Senior Construction Manager.
- Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality and be a great team player.
Requirements:
- British Citizen with a minimum of five years' residency in the UK for SC clearance (and ten years for DV).
- Dual nationality may be considered for certain roles.
