Customer Service Advisor

We are collaborating with a prominent transport and distribution firm that operates both nationally and internationally. As a result of ongoing growth, they are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join their warehouse administration team in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

Position Overview:

This role involves a rotating shift pattern, ensuring coverage during peak operational hours.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize our proprietary Traffic Management System and collaborate with Network Partners to track deliveries to their final destinations.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and communicate any potential delays to customers.
  • Address a high volume of customer inquiries through phone and email communication.
  • Coordinate with the Traffic Department to manage updates and modifications within the system, including pallet counts and scheduling changes.
  • Verify Network Partners' systems to confirm that all pallets are dispatched for delivery and notify customers of any discrepancies.
  • Organize rerouting of shipments when necessary, particularly in cases of mislabeling.
  • Manage the unallocated freight list generated by the warehouse, which identifies pallets scheduled for delivery that have not yet been dispatched.
