Job Title: Inclusion Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Inclusion Support Assistant to join our team at EdEx Education Recruitment. As an Inclusion Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs, ensuring they receive the best possible education and care.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, support staff, and students to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will be responsible for supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including those with behavioural challenges, to ensure they stay engaged and motivated in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEN in the classroom and in smaller groups to accommodate their needs
  • Encourage the development of students' social skills and promote positive relationships
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Support and comply with the school's safeguarding procedures
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A 2:1 or First-class degree from a reputable University
  • Genuine interest in working with students with SEN
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to adapt
  • Experience in a previous role or personal experience in SEN is desirable
  • Calm and compassionate nature
