The Role: Lead Product Designer

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Product Designer to join our talented multi-disciplinary experience design team. You will play a crucial role in shaping the digital experiences for Bupa's customers across various products and services.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design process from concept to launch, collaborating closely with product owners, researchers, and engineers.
  • Develop user-centric designs that are intuitive, engaging, and meet the needs of our diverse customer base.
  • Mentor and guide a team of Product Designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Advocate for best practices in UX design and champion accessibility across all products.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Bupa's Design System.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct user research, and translate insights into actionable designs.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Deep understanding of UX principles and methodologies, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Experience leading and mentoring design teams.
  • Passion for creating innovative and user-friendly digital experiences.
