We are currently in search of a Finance Operations Manager to guide our financial department. This is a remarkable opportunity to manage the financial oversight for our expanding business operations.
In this role, you will serve as a key financial partner to the Executive Management and Board, supervising financial statements, management reporting, and ensuring strong governance over accounting processes.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities, with a comprehensive grasp of financial concepts, enabling them to influence the strategic direction and decision-making of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly financial accounts, ensuring accurate preparation from trial balance to financial reports for various entities.
- Coordinate and assess month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial activities.
- Review the reconciliation process for balance sheets across multiple entities.
- Guarantee precise and timely financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Plan and manage audit processes, ensuring timely completion and maintaining relationships with auditors.
- Supervise the preparation and submission of year-end statutory accounts in compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies throughout all tasks and activities.
- Continuously evaluate and improve financial systems, processes, and controls.
- Implement the latest accounting standards and policies.
- Engage in various ad-hoc projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and/or local accounting standards.
- Proven ability to ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.
