Electrical Maintenance and Operations Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance and Operations Specialist to join our team at Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated. As a key member of our engineering services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional maintenance and support services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and help desk calls in accordance with client and JLL requirements.
  • Manage and monitor building operational functions, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Be responsible for the operational assets and systems while on shift, ensuring they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Issue permits to work for specialist vendors and carry out appropriate isolations via LOTO.
  • Complete high-voltage training and switch high-voltage and low-voltage supplies as required.

Requirements

  • City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent; or 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E) Registration or recognised equivalent.
  • Experience gained within a critical maintenance environment.
  • A good working knowledge of building management systems (BMS) and critical assets and systems, including UPS, emergency generation, electrical and mechanical distribution, and air conditioning.
  • Ability to interpret technical information and work with the team to provide solutions to technical and complex issues.
  • Good leadership qualities, with a desire to progress within the business.
