Electrical Maintenance Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems across the central belt of Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Swiftly remedying plant faults and defects to maintain plant in serviceable order.
  • Maintenance and repair of Electrical Systems, including installation work and certification.
  • Operation and interrogation of Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Basic knowledge in building fabric repairs.
  • Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive, and breakdown works.
  • Proactive identification and recording of plant failures using quotation forms and issue to line manager.
  • Ensuring suitable spares are available for maintenance and reactive works.
  • Providing parts lists and estimated timescales for remedial works.
  • Ensuring all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) is carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification.
  • Attending site in response to breakdowns or failures of equipment outside of normal working hours.
  • Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors' works while on site.
Person Specification:
  • A recognised industry qualification and previous experience are essential.
  • Trade qualified Electrician with at least 5 years' post-apprenticeship experience.
  • Legionella awareness and a full clean driver's licence are required.
  • Computer literate and able to work effectively in a team environment.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Salary up to £38,000 (negotiable).
  • 40 hours per week, 08:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday, with 1 hour lunch.
  • On call (average of 1 in 6).
  • 24 days annual leave plus public holidays.
