Prestige Recruitment Specialists is seeking a highly skilled Inventory & Audit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial sales department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, reordering items, and implementing purchases, audits, and transfers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Group Purchasing: Ensure the correct product quality and best price are maintained, ensuring required margin levels are achieved.
- Coordinate Stock Control Operations: Work with warehouse staff, sales, and finance departments to ensure efficient stock control.
- Develop Supplier Database: Create a group database of suitable suppliers and negotiate with new and existing suppliers to ensure the best terms possible.
- Maintain Stock Systems: Ensure data and prices are up to date and accurate within agreed parameters and in a timely manner.
- Assist in Pricelist Development: Help develop pricelists and specific customer price matrices/contracts.
- Manage Stock Transfers: Ensure efficient and economical stock transfers.
- Inventory and Stock Control: Maintain accurate stock valuations and establish correct stock control systems and picking routines for all sites.
- Review Inventory Software: Check products are available for up and coming sales orders.
- Complete Bi-Weekly Inventory Inspections: Dates, locations, labels, identification, inventory, slow moving, housekeeping, etc.
- Review Suppliers: Ensure uninterrupted availability of stock.
- Oversee Stock Storage Processes: Tagging, boxing, labeling, correct location, and bin locations.
- Forecast Supply and Demand: Prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock.
- Verify Goods Received: Confirm purchase contents and orders are complete.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Inventory and stock management systems according to set standards.
