General Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the management of our refrigerated vehicle manufacturing facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for prioritizing and coordinating the build schedule, collaborating with the Production Director and Production Manager, and ensuring the efficient operation of our production team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management of the refrigerated vehicle manufacturing facility
  • Prioritize and coordinate the build schedule
  • Collaborate with the Production Director and Production Manager
  • Prepare and complete job cards and work orders
  • Communicate with vehicle manufacturers, dealers, and customers
  • Report directly to senior management
  • Prepare and compile parts orders
  • Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for parts procurement
  • Work closely with the accounts department for invoicing of builds and parts
  • Facilitate team member onboarding and induction processes
  • Schedule and organize maintenance for plant machinery
  • Supervise overall factory maintenance activities
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a General Manager position
  • Must have a background in body building and prior management of a similar production environment
  • Strong understanding of the manufacturing process is essential
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle type approval is a plus
