The Communications Executive will develop and lead the effective design and delivery of all internal events & communications, videos and feedback surveys to ensure successful outcomes, increased engagement and continuous improvement across the controls and governance functions. You will support in ensuring that control and governances work is visible to the wider business

As the Communications Executive you will focus on nurturing relationships with our people, building loyalty, retention and boosting engagement and collaboration. You partner with colleagues across Control & Governance to deliver the strategic communication plan which includes working with and providing support to employee wellbeing strategies.

**How you’ll help us make health happen**:

- Work in close collaboration with the control and governance leadership team and People Business Partner to develop and implement a function-specific internal communications strategy.
- Facilitate events and focus group research to support the Directors, with a focus on understanding the barriers to engagement, opportunities for improvement and using this insight to drive continuous improvement.
- Plan and manage the development and delivery of a programme of events that supports growth in capability and increased engagement.
- Engage key stakeholders within the business.
- Attend the events and help manage our attendees at both an operational and senior level.
- Model the culture and take responsibility for the maintenance and development of reputation and relationships with key stakeholders such as regulators, customers and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement that constantly seeks to improve customer outcomes, eliminate waste and increase efficiency and productivity.
- Delivery of the communications strategy, driving the culture of C&G through timely and effective delivery of messages through engaging and interactive channels
- Assesses, analyses and manages all risks in area of responsibility, reporting appropriately, escalating where needed and adhering to published policies and procedures.
- Ensure decisions are made within delegated authorities, risk appetite and is compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain a robust control environment to ensure both FCA and CQC regulatory compliance with appropriate location and apportionment of accountability.

**Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role**:

- Experience in communications and or PR
- A high degree of energy, drive and enthusiasm.
- Excellent project management, planning and organisational abilities with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a positive persuasive manner, capable of bringing others along with them.
- Creative experience and flair and a strong understanding and empathy with Brand values.
- Experience in managing budgets.
- PC literate and the ability to communicate messages effectively via a range of Microsoft packages (PowerPoint, Excel, word etc.)
- Exceptional experience of successfully influencing decisions with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
