Job Title: Workshop Plant Fitter

Location: Tewkesbury

Salary: £29,000 - £31,000 per annum

Job Overview: First Military Recruitment is seeking a skilled Workshop Plant Fitter to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining plant equipment to a high standard.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair/maintain a variety of plant equipment, including compressors, mini-excavators, dumpers, and small tools, both on and off site.
  • Check and tag all equipment, updating service records as necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with products and accessories, ensuring knowledge is current.
  • Complete test certificates and associated paperwork.
  • Adhere to customer Health & Safety rules when on site.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop, assisting with general duties as required.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as directed by the Foreman or General Manager.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Customer service focus.
  • Experience in a similar plant fitting role.
  • CITB/NVQ qualification is preferred.
  • Valid driving license.
