Senior Design Engineer - Mechanical Building Services

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at fish4.co - Jobboard, specialising in the design and installation of commercial buildings services systems.

The role:

  • Design of mechanical services systems including ductwork, pipework and drainage sizing and layouts, plant and terminal selection, plant room design.
  • Utilize Autocad 2D and Revit 3D, Hevacomp thermal modelling software to deliver high-quality designs.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Review and approve junior staff's design documents, calculations, specifications, and external submissions, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Oversee multiple large design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines effectively.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical pipework & ventilation design engineer / mechanical designer experience is essential.
  • Qualified to HND level or higher preferred.
  • Proficiency in Autocad and Hevacomp is required.

Package:

  • Salary up to £55K.
  • Company vehicle provided.
  • 25 days holiday per annum.
