Job Title: Associate Head Teacher

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our leadership team as an Associate Head Teacher at Melksham Oak Community School.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the effective running of the school, ensuring the highest academic, behavioural and professional standards are maintained at all times. They will provide visible and proactive leadership across all areas of school life, reporting directly to the Executive Headteacher and deputising for them as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the school's leadership team
  • Develop and implement school policies and procedures
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress and achievement
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to improve teaching and learning
  • Represent the school at local and national level
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be a talented, experienced and passionate senior leader who is deeply committed to the trust's vision for education. They will have a proven track record of impactful leadership, experience in the management of change and the ability to develop high-performing teams.
