Production Planner Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team at a leading FMCG and Personal Care company based in the Greater Cardiff area.

This permanent position as Costing and Pricing Coordinator involves working closely with key stakeholders on site, requiring a strong ability to communicate effectively with external and internal stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Receiving and analyzing customer orders and forecasts for existing products and launch products.
  • Creating realistic and fluid plans, taking into account business constraints.
  • Liaising extensively with internal departments and external parties to ensure clear communication and effective execution of the role.
  • Monitoring and measuring On Time In Full results to ensure agreed objectives are met.
  • Completing daily and monthly reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a good standard of education, including AS Level Maths, English or equivalent, and solid level of Excel, Outlook, and ERP software skills. Experience working within an FMCG environment and understanding of supply chain are also essential.

This is a days-based role working 08:00 - 16:30 Mon - Thurs and 08:00 - 13:00 on Friday. If you are a motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
