Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver VAT advisory services to a variety of clients, including large multinational corporations.
  • Provide ad-hoc VAT advice as needed.
  • Engage with HMRC on daily operations.
  • Oversee VAT registration applications and necessary correspondence.
  • Address internal VAT inquiries.
  • Collaborate with international offices as required.
  • Participate in monthly VAT team meetings.
  • Assist in promoting the VAT team.
  • Support the growth and development of the VAT department.
  • Identify opportunities for risk management and cross-selling services.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Ensure compliance with technical and ethical standards.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Possesses strong VAT technical knowledge.
  • Understands VAT implications across various industries.
  • Experience with corporate and international VAT matters is a plus.
  • Familiarity with other business taxes is advantageous.
  • Proficient in IT, particularly MS Office.
