**Job Summary**
Chelwest is seeking to employ two Senior Clinical Fellows in Paediatric Surgery and Urology to assist in the cover of general paediatric surgery and urology in-patient and out-patient clinical care.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support inpatient surgical management of elective and emergency workload, including administration and coordination with other departments.
- Outpatient clinic duties, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Outpatient and day surgery support to outreach hospitals in North-West London, ensuring seamless care coordination and communication.
- On call commitment in line with European working time directive, providing 24-hour coverage for general paediatric surgical and urological inpatients, as well as neonatal ward in-patients.
**Clinical Responsibilities**
- Support an integrated elective and emergency Paediatric & Neonatal Surgery service, working collaboratively with colleagues in Paediatric Surgery/Urology to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Provide high-quality clinical care for all children referred to the service, including attending paediatric surgery/urology patients when on call.
- Supervise junior medical staff within the Paediatric Surgical and Urology team, ensuring adequate training and support.
- Participate in regular unit and personal audit of clinical practice, driving quality improvement and excellence in patient care.
