The Team

Our Corporate Finance team is a national team with significant resource in each of our offices, providing a wide range of services to banks and financial institutions, as well as corporate and property clients. We are looking for an Associate to work on a variety of financing matters, including leveraged finance, real estate finance, corporate debt, infrastructure, and asset-based lending.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise and act as the core panel for all UK clearing banks, with exposure to large and high-profile local, UK, and international transactions.
  • Regularly assist corporate borrowers on high-value, high-profile, and often complex transactions.
  • Work closely with existing clients to maintain and develop relationships, acting as a trusted advisor capable of providing timely and quality advice while managing expectations.
  • Take a leading role on most matters, with continuous development valued and encouraged through formal training programs and mentoring.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of PQE experience within finance, real estate finance, acquisition/leveraged finance, or asset-based lending.
  • Enthusiasm, resilience, and ambition to find solutions to clients' legal challenges and requirements.
  • Experience in engaging with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
  • A consultative and thorough approach to tasks.
  • Maintain efficient diary and task management across a range of matters, ensuring the accuracy and levels of client service expected within a high-performing team.
