Job Title: YOS Court Officer

We are seeking an experienced YOS Court Officer to join our team. As a YOS Court Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting young people involved in the Criminal Justice System.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in a multi-agency setting with young people, developing knowledge of criminal legislation and its impact on youths.
  • Exercise initiative and independence in your work, preparing formal reports and conducting safeguarding assessments.
  • Evaluate risk and address safeguarding issues, demonstrating a deep understanding of the underlying factors contributing to young people's offending behavior.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for young people, their families, victims, and the community.
Requirements:
  • Hold QSW Status, including Social Work England registration and completed ASYE.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant role.
  • Right to work in the UK.
