About the Role

The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership is seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our Financial Management Graduate Scheme. As a graduate, you will have the opportunity to work across the breadth of the finance function, gaining valuable and varied experiences in areas such as financial management, business partnering, and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in complex, challenging environments in partnership with clinicians and other professionals.
  • Develop financial management and leadership skills while studying for a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA).
  • Rotate through a number of placements to gain experience and a solid grounding in all aspects of NHS finance.
  • Study for an accredited professional accountancy qualification (ACCA) over 3 years.
Requirements
  • Minimum UK 2:2 degree level qualification (awarded by July 2025).
  • Experience of building effective relationships and collaborative working within a team or group of people.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Numerical and finance skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload to deadlines and under time pressure.
