Pediatric Nurse

The Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and compassionate A&E General Nurse to join their team in the Children's Outpatient Department. As a key member of the multi-professional team, you will provide high-quality care to children and families attending the department.
Main Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with various teams to deliver ambulatory care for children, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Develop and maintain expertise in clinical skills, including venipuncture, to ensure effective patient care.
- Conduct pre-assessment for children undergoing general anesthesia in a district general hospital setting.
- Lead by example, providing guidance and support to colleagues within the department.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional care, prioritizing the needs of children and their families.
- Support the administration of vaccinations and contribute to governance in clinical care.
- Essential: Degree or Diploma in Nursing Child Branch or Registered Sick Children's Nurse, or Registered General Nurse with experience in a paediatric setting.
- Desirable: Previous experience working in an outpatient setting.
- Essential: Competent in venipuncture.
- Desirable: Immunisation competent.
